HAND WASHING SILK
Dry cleaning can remove the lustre or shine of silk. (Unless you know a wonderful dry cleaner). Further more it uses a lot of chemicals and is an inconvenience.
Hand washing silk is very easy.
Use a wash basin with luke warm water and a couple of drops of pH neutral soap. Swirl items around and
leave for around 2 min. Rinse with fresh luke warm water and gently squeeze.
Use a clean towel and roll the garment/scarf up and then gently blot.
Line dry in the shade
